ITEMS, Descriptions, ... and Prices ???

This wonderful Art Collectible is from the Art Master's own crafting creativity. And you can get a good look at this Artform, here.

(His other artform, the LINGERIE ORBS that have been done, are pictured in the ORB GALLERY. Proposed and already Designed Orbs are on the ORB PROJECT PROPOSALS PAGE.)

However, please realize that this is not quite a CATALOG, as many of these MASTERPIECES are already done, and are not available for immediate sale. But, it gives you a good idea of what can be done, and what we have done, so that if you are interested in a Project, you will have some basis and understanding of what they are all about.

ENJOY!

1. NAME: "Brenda" -- The Bride's Maid
CLASS: Bridal Stuffed Clothing

COMPOSITION:
Like the Bridal Gowns, "Brenda" has a typical bride's maid's gown, or dress (or formal) suitable for a wedding, stuffed with a pillow containing various articles of women's clothing (sometimes, also lingerie)--these are often of used or 2nd Hand clothing (which was what we used here), though clean, pure off-the-rack garments can be used for that virginal ambiance (but at higher costs). Stuffed Clothing can also be made with decorations (extra cost) and even jewelry (but more expensive!). Stockings, lingerie, or TARDS can be added as additional decorations, to complete the effect. (A crude stuffed Pillow was used here.)

"Brenda's" DETAILS and BACKGROUND:

They say that each and every snowflake, though similar to all the others, is unique and different from the others. And it seems that each Stuffed Clothing Masterpiece has something of its own "personality", either from incidents in its planning and construction or from events that seem to occur with it after it is all together.

BRENDA'S STORY:
"Brenda" is one of those compostions that called to us from the rack, as we were going through the store, looking for wedding gowns. And, as a rare find, we think that you will also appreciate her. What a hidden gem!

Ever heard that saying: ALWAYS A BRIDE'S MAID, BUT NEVER A BRIDE? Well, that is Brenda's story. As she graducated from High School, she watch many of her friends couple up and get married. Then, as the years passed, many of her other friends found good mates, and married. And for many of these, Brenda was there, and, in fact, was often asked to be one of the Bride's, Bride's Maids! So, there she was, always waiting.

Now, mind you you, she was not ugly nor repulsive. However, while the other girls were dolling themselves up to look over-attractive, Brenda was more of a plain Jane--hoping to rely on her natural attractions, rather than artificial goop. But, as things would have it, the other girls, caught the attentions of the guys with all of their make-ups and put-ons, while Brenda just stood around, hoping some guy would "discover" her. Ah...

Well, for this wedding, she was as pretty as a picture, dressed in this fancy, lacy purple gown. And, she did get noticed... this time!

COMPOSITION AND CONSTRUCTION:

"Brenda" is pretty straight forward in design and construction (hence her lower price). We stuffed the gown with a improvised Pillow, which bulked up the bride's maid's gown underneath, so that it could be displayed sitting.

As a result, "Brenda" is rather plain and simple, reflecting that passed-over "personality" that she developed. But, then, that is just what many typical Brides are looking for (as they don'twant other, more beautiful girls stealing their show), so she is the model often chosen as a supporter.

In additon, nylon stockings (probably dark ones) could be added to this design for added effect of completeness. And perhaps a few blue or pink bows or ribbons might help spark up her plainness. Also, costume jewelry or even real jewelry makes a good added effect, though it can be costly.

However, in retrospect, "Brenda" is a little flat, and probably could use a TARD to bulk up her look and give her a better presentation. In fact, I think this may be one of those that we should suspend or hang from the ceiling so that you get a better impression of the smooth clean lines of the gown. (This would work in a TALL Weding Hutch, where the gown could be suspended from the roof of the Viewing Cabinet.)
